A Minimo Incipe Association is a non-profit organization (ONLUS) based in Florence, in Piazza di Santo Spirito, founded to support the Augustinian Community of Santo Spirito in the protection, promotion, and enhancement of the monumental complex of the Basilica and the Convent.
The Association operates on a non-profit basis and pursues exclusively social, cultural, and spiritual objectives, with particular attention to the conservation and enhancement of the historical and artistic heritage of Santo Spirito, its accessibility to an ever-wider public, and the promotion of cultural and educational initiatives.
Among its statutory aims are the promotion of the thought of Saint Augustine, philosopher and saint, and the development of activities of study, encounter, and dialogue in the artistic, historical, religious, and socio-cultural fields, also through collaborations with universities, foundations, institutions, and associations, in full respect of tradition and current regulations.
A Minimo Incipe also supports the protection of the works of art preserved in the Basilica and its adjoining spaces, encouraging conservation, enhancement, and dissemination projects, and contributing to making the monumental complex of Santo Spirito a living, accessible, and culturally active place, in continuity with its history.
The Association’s activity is founded on volunteer work and a shared commitment to serving the community, in the conviction that the care of artistic and spiritual heritage represents a collective responsibility and a common good.
